The Annual Awards banquet

This is the seventh year that the Harrisonburg Police Foundation has sponsored the Harrisonburg Police Department's annual awards banquet. 

One of the the purposes of Harrisonburg Police Foundation  is to promote positive police and community relations between the Harrisonburg Police Department and area businesses, organizations  and individuals.  As part of this mission we  began in 2018 inviting local citizens, civic organizations and the business community to partner with us in sponsoring  and attending this event.

The police employees being recognized at this banquet embody the best attributes of the law enforcement profession. Some  may have taken life threatening actions to protect themselves or others, some clearly saved lives, some promoted community service and others simply provided unparalleled service to the citizens of Harrisonburg. All those recognized at this banquet have given their all, either in a sustained manner or through one specific moment of crisis, making Harrisonburg a safer place to live and work.
